Candex
Hello, I've been having this issue from almost always... Whenever I try to edit my own posts, and then click 'save changes' , the post looses all sort of formatting and all I get is a bunch of words and signs squashed all together. The weird thing is that I do remember being able to edit properly my posts, once upon a time.... What am I doing wrong? :psyduck: If there is anyone out there that can give me a hand.... Thanks in advance. EDIT: Thanks for such a quick answer! I'm trying the full editor right now for this. EDIT 2: WOHOOOO IT WORKED MANY MANY THANKS!!!!! ;D Edited July 24, 2011 by Candex
bben46
Try using the full editor - look below the posting box for a button. Sometimes you can fix a post where the formatting has messed up by just calling it up with the full editor button and posting again.
KDStudios
Yeah I've noticed this happening quite a few times. It's quite disheartening to see such a structured post turn into html gobbledegook. But yes, editing it using the full editor seems to have it work properly, if not do what I do and make notepad backups of your post with it's relative bbcode :)

If you've got it selected for word wrapping. Click Format/Word Wrapping (UNCheck if checked). Tho yeah, I also use notepad for some of my posts. Or do a ctrl + A and then ctrl + C. Ctrl +A selects all the text, then ctrl + C (In MOST browsers) uses "copy". Or just right click on your text and choose select all then right click again to choose copy.Usually works fine, unless your browser crashes....
