Startup Crash-Comodo or Script Extender?

I'll start off saying thanks for any help I get and I'll try to include as information as I can possibly think of. And sorry for the big god-awful wall of text of how I've been doing things, I just feel like the more info the better but sometimes there might be too much.

Game Version: Oblivion GOtY

DLC: Frostcraig, Battlehorn Castle, Orrey, SpellTomes, Horse Armor (yeah yeah, I know it's a running joke but I wanted it....)

OS: Windows 7

Do have the Unofficial patch, installed on the 17th

The game files are installed in the location that the game wanted to put them in.

The story: I've been playing vanilla Oblivion for a while now and decided that the game could do with a few mods. I downloaded the Mod Manager and Kvatch Rebuilt, got those two installed and then saw the Trade and Commerce set and saw it needed the script extender. So I downloaded the OBSE (from the http://obse.silverlock.org/ site), placed the three files that the readme said needed to be moved into their respective spots and decided to run the game through that just to see if it worked. My Comodo was a little concerned about the OBSE but not the mod manager, I managed to get past that and ran the game and played for a while and everything seemed fine. So I downloaded TaC, installed that and tried to run Oblivion through the OBSE again, all I got was a startup crash. Deactivated TaC and tried through the vanilla shortcut, no go.

Now, Comodo was trying to sandbox the script extender, the original Oblivion.exe and gameux.dll plus warn me about an access memory and modify key the first time when I was successfully able to play it and then continued to warn me in the action center about it the next times when I tried to play. I figured that all of this stuff was probably safe since thousands of others have been able to use the SE without any serious consequences and I marked them as safe. No go, the game still crashes. I uninstall TaC and remove the OBSE files and also the duplicate OBSE saved game version from the Saves file. The vanilla shortcut still will not load. Now, the readme tells me that I probably should have had a logs file appear but I never did. However, an obse.txt and a obse_loader.txt were created.

So, that's the complete rundown of my issue (I hope!), hopefully enough to go by and hopefully somewhat easier to fix. If you want my load order or anything from those .txt files I'll be more than happy to post them but I've probably made this long enough already.

Yup so naturally the one thing that I didn't try (disabling Kvatch Rebuilt) was probably what was causing my issues which is very weird because I ran it with the mod running the first time and it did work. Oh well, I did a complete uninstall (thanks to Bben's guide) and moved the whole shebang to a Games folder instead. I guess I'm just happy to have my save game back! Anybody have any ideas why Kvatch Rebuilt won't work? Everything else has decided to. I guess I'm sort of going off-topic there so I guess if a mod feels like the issue originally presented has been resolved and wants to close this I'll totally understand. Edited by Tweetybird
