WastedNomad Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Just an idea I came up with, thought that if you take the harder route it could easily become an expansion of sorts. Simple Version - Riddick vision/eye color change if possible. (Itd be cool to have something along the lines of the 'cateye?' effect. Get it in the way of a perk? Advanced Version - For the more advanced modders if you want to take this up as a project then add the whole story in there, by way of a quest. The quest will be something like this - first you get thrown in a slam "Prison" (kill someone in a new place?), then you pay one of the doctors "20 menthol kools" (lets say give them 20 packs of cigs? XD) to give you a surgical eyeshine which would add something like... Night vision with living creatures lit up, your vision is hurt by light exposure unless you are wearing some sunglasses / Custom made riddick type glasses. The quest explained a bit more:First lets say you kill someone in a new added building/town (etc) and you are approached by a man then knocked out when you are distracted... You wake up in a prison cell (new building) and everything is stripped from you except for maybe a retex of a vault suit to look inmatish... This prison will be very dim and underground so finding your way around would be hard (the other inmates are used to this by now and will take advantage of you (no not that way... pervert XD). Pretty soon a trigger will have them beating you up yada yada without you being able to see them hardly, then knockout effect again.... You wake up on a doctors table and get up and are confronted by a crazy looking doctor. He tells you what happened and says he can help you if you can get him 20 packs of Menthol KOOLs.... Pretty much there will be little side quests in this prison that pay you by packs of Menthol KOOLs (new cigs renamed). After gaining 20 packs you go back to the doctor and give them to him in exchange for his surgical eyeshine... You lay down on his operating table and blackout effect happens, you wake up vision all nightvision/y and see the doc and he is shining a bit. He tells you it will take time to adjust to this new eyesight and tells you how light will now cause bad vision effects along with giving you shaded goggles to protect against it (when wearing the goggles your vision will be normal). You can add whatever kind of escape quest you want that gives the player all their stuff back at the end or just for it to be easy make the player blackout and wake up outside in the mojave with all their stuff. NOTE- Ill be happy to help with coming up with ideas for an escape quest or anything else for it if there is somebody that is interested in this mod. I am very much new to modding and so cannot help much (I can put the jail together but that be pretty much it with how big this mod could potentially be, I think, actually Im pretty sure, a lot of scripting will be involved) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Easy fix, just make FOTN (Friend of the night perk) have a blue ISFX instead of just amplifying light. Really easy to do. -I believe on the TESNexus theres an eye mod for Riddick so if you want that you can create a new eye type and put it in the characters eye lists.
