FCOM missing mesh

I use FCOM and have all of its components 100% installed. Have been using it for a while, and this is the first time I have noticed a problem.

 

The "flayer knife" is a WarCry weapon, FCOM's WarCry plugin says that it makes the "flayer knife" playable (it is a weapon carried by "bone finger" enemies added by the mod). The knife looks absolutely fine when the aformentioned enemies wield it, but when I loot it and try to equip it to my character I get a big "Missing Mesh" error bubble. I have not noticed this with ANY other content added by FCOM and its assosciated mods. Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong? It's a very cool looking little weapon.

Run Archive Invalidation with "BSA Redirection" method from OBMM.

If still it doesn't work, try extracting the related mesh/textures in the data folder (preserving the folder structure) and run Archive Invalidation again. Could be also a problem with a corrupted archive.

It looks like WarCry 1.09 has some strange stuff going on.

 

The Flayer Knife has two versions. When you loot it, a script replaces the original with a player version. The mesh looks like it got renamed at some point without the corresponding plugin entry being updated to match the new location. I will make a small patch for this and post it.

 

The only thing is, the FlayerKnifePlayer item is a MISC item, not a weapon. Maybe it had issues as a weapon? More research is needed.
