pixx1981
Hi all, I looked now a long time for an answer trough the web and maybe i get it, if i just ask. I downloaded some recources (walls etc.) which came in two folders - Meshes and Textures. I put them in my Data folder of my clean install just for modding. When i startet GECK i tried to find those custom things but nothing. So, here are my question(s): 1) Do i have to add every single piece (i think from the Meshes-Folder) to GECK? (New Item -> look for it and so on) 2) If no, does it have sth to do with that ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!bsa? (which i don´t have on this install) that GECK doesn´t show those things in the tree? (Static for example) I realized, when i open a mod in Geck (of my install i play with, modded) all those things of that mod are there. On that install FOMM handles that archiveinva..blabla.So where is the difference? i am really confused >.< If i just ask a very stupid question...pls 4give me, normally i am not new to modding-tools but the way GECK handles the data...just wow... SpeedyB64
Well the models have to be added to your mod. So you do have to add every single piece.Luckily there is an easy way to do this, simply open the folder with the models you want in it, in the GECK expand the appropriate section in the object window. Drag and drop the items from the folder into the object window. They will automatically be added to your .esp, the objects will automatically be named with the name of their model. Make sure you drag statics into the static section, doors into the doors section, etc.
pixx1981
That this drag and drop system works in geck i already knew (f.e. all the ammo in 1 container). Just that it works with ur OS too, not. xDBig thx 4 ur answer, that helped me a lot. ;)
