Find your own damn bed

One of the things that drives me crazy is having to assign a bed to new settlers who stand around doing nothing. The "if you work, you eat" saying should be enough but I still find settlers standing around all day, not harvesting, not contributing (and not sleeping). Someone should make a mod to automatically assign work and beds to all settlers, thereby increasing happiness automatically.

I'll have to test without my mods, but every new settler automatically grabs the first available bed and assigns themselves to unassigned crops. I don't recall any time where they didn't do this.
