Mechanical Menace - Crash to Desktop

Hello everyone.

 

I'd like to ask for help about Mechanical Menace, because I keep Crashing to the Desktop right after the NPCs have spawned where the quest starts.

 

In addition, I do not know if any of the mods I use are the reason to my CTD, furthermore, I don't use any HUD mods, and I've tried this for at least two days now, and Steam Forums is just useless to ask for help too, + I get spoilers there... so yeah...

I found this because I was looking up "standaloneconstruct.esp".

It causing problems for me, although with Wasteland workshop rather than mechanical menace

I was also having this problem and found that it was related to CBBE. I was using CBBE version 1.7 and CTD every time I tried to enter the cell from any angle to the first Mechanical Menace mission site. I upgraded yesterday to the new version 1.9 of CBBE and the CTDs are gone. I was able to complete the mechanical menace mission as well as two others whose sites had wound up being inside the same cell once the CTDs started.

 

I had also been using Kuuns vanilla to CBBE outfits mod but did not reinstall it as the new version of CBBE includes these. I also believe the CTDs had started prior to my finding and installing Kuun's mod.
