KendoGunShopYT
I have all the pieces seperated and made into nifs. I even have one that I've already swapped the parts with the deliverer in nifskope, I.E. changed the slide, frame and hammer ect of the Deliverer with the mesh I want to get in-game. How do I go about adding it to the game? I have experience adding melee weapons using FO4edit and the GECK but I can't seem to get that method to work with guns. With the melee weapons there's one or two files you have to change to the location of your nif and you're pretty much done, but I can't find out how to do that with guns because the only nif file is the 10mmreceiverdummy file and changing that crashed my game. Anybody that has experience adding guns to fallout 4 mind shedding some light on this?
jsnider193
for the bolters put in I used the alien blaster as the template for the weapon. Just did copy (not copy branch) of my weapon .. then highlighted the ninode of the alien blaster and did a 'paste' (not paste branch). Followed Mike Moores tut video to clean and attach after that. Then go into CK picked a weapon and changed the art files to mine (holding my breath) and created new ID. After that went back and cleaned up the mesh to get ride of things not needed .. if weapon dies at some point got ride of something needed. Also in CK for my record went in and cleaned up the alien blaster refs or whatever and made closer to what wanted .... you know this was a lot easier in FNV but heck games change. hope helps .. if need more detail ask and someone will surely help .. if not PM me. seekingthesun
There's two places in each entry where you can/should add the nif path. Also, if the model is crashing your game, there's something wrong with it. You could help with diagnosis if you'd show a screenshot of it with all the branches expanded, and a look at the bsx, strings, and children headers.
