But mostly a vault left behind type Story (so far): Starting in Goodsprings find basement area with dairy(need help to learn how to script and model) with information about Doug, who settled here just before a "young" Doc Mitch showed up in town and moved into old clinic. His dairy describes an old dead skeleton in the basement that had a breifcase(again model and scripting with contents) clutched in his arms not being able to open it he buried him up in the graveyard. in the briefcase is a Vault-Tec Keycode, Vault-Tec Manual, and a note. [Note reads: Mr. J. Brien, we at Vault-Tec are happy to say that you have been selected to be the overseer to Vault 07. This facilty is a small but one of our most advances sites. We hope to hear from you soon on the Vault-Tec Overseer Network.] Can the courier find the vault and acces its lost wonders? What challenges await them in the lost tomb of ancient tech? Now entrance to the vault is harder then the overseer entrance to get to. The overseer entrance is in the basement. They must acces the terminal to begin operations (Quest 1: "Opening the Future's Past?" {scripting?} ) and it will instruct you to start backup generator til reactor can be placed online, informing the courier that they have 1 hour til generator dies. Once found you enter a small corridor where the find the backup generator, turning on light now activate in corridor (scripting) down the hall is a large fan room for deeper ventilation, across the way at the base is entrance to stairwell. after going down 3 more flights and down anothe corridor you arive at a door way. Opening the doorway you find yourself at a switch under the overseer's desk. Once closing the desk, approaching the terminals behind the desk will complete quest 1. At the terminal you have several options: Messages, System Controls, Maintenance, Security, Personnel Adminstrations, Missions and Asset Inventory Control. (major Scripting, i am such a noob) Only one message is available currently, it is from a Cryo Resident. The Cryo resident is asking to be released once the Vault is activated, he can be found in Cloning and Cryo Chambers on sub level 7. Quest 2: "The New Begining" the courier now must cross the hall turn on the main computer and then next door to system room and initiat systems.Quest completes when the Main Reactor is placed online, and this requires the courier to physically go to reactor and use the reactor's Maintenance Droid to place in the primary core unit. From here the courier can explore the complex. The complex is more then I thought but I like to be able to do it, here are just the basic things I have ideas for: -Vault complex has 15 levels: 3 above ground and 12 sublevels - Rooms gournd level and above: Air Purification plant, Forge and Refinery, Security and Armory with Jail for 12), Emergency Medicial (with Decon Chambers for 4), Main gate (Gear Room) - Rooms in sub levels: Overseers office, adminstrations, Computer room, Systems control, Atrium with pool area, Diner, Cigar lounge with dance floor, Barracks: East and West (hold 24 Security gaurds), Hydropnics, Cafeteria, Lundry, Main Medicial, Lab, Training Classes 1-2 (for 10 people each) 3-4 (for 20 People), Muesuem (with 30 Maniquinns desplaying armor the courier has collecting, and statued creature display area), Berthing Wings: A, B, C, and D (each has 15 single person rooms with central area having Male and female bathroom { 4 showers, 2 tubs, 4 toilets, 4 sinks}) Central Berthing area has a store that can be stocked via Quests, Water purification and reclaimation floor, Water holding tanks, Cloning And Cryo Chamber area and Lab, Speed tram Station, Recycling Plant, Main storage, Main Reactor - Mercanary Camp Desert Foxes an all female mercanary unit ( thats all i hint about for now) - Raider bunker the Blood Hunters have a small complex of elite raiders with access to power armor - i would also like to add 26 outfits, 8 weapons, 2 new factions, 6 races with 4 alteration sub races (Child, Teen, Youth, Adult, Mature adult, Elder), 6 Quests ( profit, resource management, personnel, romance {11 possibles for male courier and 9 for female} ), 27 NPCs ( 7 for vault positions other 20 are for romance quests lol) - Scripting i need help so i can assign NPC living Quarters or room assignments, Alarm or NPC reactions to a guy walking into Female bathrooms, Daily routine actions for NPC (Work, food, drink , shower, sleep, Laundry, relaxing, swimming and outfit changes to go with them), terminal controls and information, Cloning, farming food (crops), drink generation (pure water, vodka, wine, soda) - Modeling I need help with is downloading models so I can edit new texture files for vault and utility areas, clothing and armor, and itroducing some of my own designs -Voicing how to do that at all lol; I have an idea already for the one Cryo NPC (Nicoli Kodiak, LVPD Detective, now your head of Secutiry) I am good with geck when it comes to placing preset item already in the game so layout isnt hard for me and I have tons of ideas as you can see.Just not sure if I tackled something to big for one person but I like to try at leastI would like suggestions and help on anything from the community, i will try to respond as soon as possible Edited July 26, 2011 by Mardrigon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
