swedishmeatball
I downloaded the Imperial Furniture set, and am now annoyed because of the bed that's automatically in each house. I bought the house in Skingrad and can't remove the bed. Is there any cheat or anything that allows you to remove things like beds? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I just want to set up the whole house on my own. Minus the ugly little bed.
tsolless
Here's what to do. 1) Open the Construction Set. I will refer to it as the CS, for short. 2) Select the file button in the row of buttons in the upper part of the construction set and choose "Data" 3) Open up Oblivion.esm by double clicking it. There should now be a tick on it. (Wait a couple minutes for that to load) 4) Go into the "Cell View" window. Choose World Space as "Interiors". 5) Find the proper cell (Cells are every area in the game where you have to load to get into. If you get a loading screen you are going into a new cell. This is how it is for interiors at least.) In this case the proper cell(s) are "SkingradHouseForSale", "SkingradHouseForSaleBasement" and "SkingradHouseForSaleUpperFloor". 6) When you select the cell, (SkingradForSaleUpperFloor has a bed in it) look at the render window. It shows the house. It is hard to look around without knowing how as there are keyboard and mouse shortcuts for that. I'm not going into that right now. 7) In the Cell View window (the one where you chose the cell) there is also a list of objects in the room. Find "UCDoubleBed05LR" and select it. Double click it and it should zoom into the bed. Use the scroll on the mouse to zoom in and out to get a better view. 8) Select the bed in the render window and a multicoloured box should go around it. Now delete the bed with delete. NOTE: If the bed didn't disappear but it looks like you deleted something you probably accidentaly deleted something else. Undo with control-z. For some odd reason for me there was two beds stacked on each other there. 9) The bed's gone! Hard part over. Now slect file and save the .esp to the Oblivion data folder as "SkingradBedDelete" or whatever. 10) Start up Oblivion but don't launch it. Select Data Files. A list of multiple .esp's and .esm's should come up. these are the mods. Select "SkingradBedDelete" and activate it. 11) The bed should be gone. Go check it out.
