Help removing an effect PLEASE

As far i can remember i installed a new type of eve mod that makes the energy or plasma weapons have a large green blast when killing an enemy.This blast can hit me and damage me if im near and if there are items in the floor or nearby the are toss to the air from the blast and that is pissing me off lol.I uninstalled and installed FNV again witout the mod and instead i installed EVE from here (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=42666) and i do get the effects of EVE but i also still have the blast. I created a new character and with commands i equip the Plasma Defender and i get EVE effects but i dont get the blast. Is somehow linked to my old safe character.The thing is i already finished and have gotten everithing on the old character and i dont wanna delete it.

Can someone help me?

That probably is effect of Plasma Spaz perk. Works with all energy weapons, not only with plasma ones. Remove that perk and off you go. EVE has nothing to do with it. Check perk list on fallout.wikia, get the FormID for it, open console and type:

player.removeperk <FormID> 1

 

 

EDIT: That is not a Plasma Spaz, sorry. That effect is generated by perk named Meltdown and to get rid of it open console and type:

 

player.removeperk 14609a 1

 

That should do the trick.
