Azworai
So, since I've booted the game up after the Alien Hunter DLC launched, something appears to be broken with my game. Weapons that were formerly infinite in value have limited values at the conventional weapon stage, upgrading to Predator armor does nothing. I attempted to disable the mods I had that added weapons, as well as mods I had that were affecting armor, but the issues seems to be persisting. I'm currently unsure what aspects of a mod would interfere with the Predator Armor aside from a mod that impacts armor itself, as removing my old weapon mods didn't fix it. Can anyone shed a little light on this? I'd give a list of my mods, but it's a relatively lengthy list and I don't know how to produce a list via NMM... so I'm attempting to narrow things down by category before compiling such a list. davidlallen
There are two major compatibility problems with the patch, summarized in the first post of this thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4112090-2016-05-12-patch-sdk-changes/ To fix the armor problem, an individual player can change the ini file as described there. Unfortunately there is no way an individual player can fix the infinite item problem; this requires a simple change in the unrealscript files, but then you have to recompile the mod using the sdk. If you use several weapon mods which have this problem, and you know which ones, you may wish to check their comment thread at steam. Possibly the problems are already reported, or fixed in a new version on steam. If not, perhaps the author will look at either their steam comment thread or their nexus download thread; you should post something to make sure they know about the problem. Unfortunately when this type of incompatibility comes from a patch, we discover many mods are "dead" and the author is no longer supporting them. Azworai
Thanks for addressing the issue so promptly, David! Time to get correcting! I suppose I should update the Heavy Class at some point, too... even though I kindof gave up on it due to relatively low amounts of response and the things I wanted to do being outside my skillset and patience threshold. Anyway, thanks again!
Azworai
Hm... just had an issue where the armor did not even show up for vanilla classes. x.x Back to the drawing board!
