BjornTuroque
Hi, I am wondering if I installed JB3 correctly (I wouldn't know the difference otherwise; I'd just like to make sure.) The instructions say: 1. Download the files.2. Unpack the files using WinRAR / 7-Zip.3. Once you unpack the files, you will get a folder called 'override' for each part.4. Copy this folder to your game installation folder [default] C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\packages\core\.5. When asked to overwrite, click Yes.5. Done. Any problems? Go ahead and ask! So should all the files be in C:\Users\Admin\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override\JB3? Or should there not be a JB3 folder? Also, with the updates, I'm supposed to overwrite the older files, right? Just copy/paste them in order? Thanks! Edit: Oops, I copied them into my Documents folder instead of the game installation folder. So should it go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\packages\core then? Or should there be a JB3 folder? Thanks very much! Edit2: Now I found this: 1. Download the files.2. Unpack the files using WinRAR / 7-Zip.3. Once you unpack the files, you will get a folder called 'JB3' for each part.4. Copy this folder to your game installation folder [default] C:\Documents and Settings\...\Bioware\Dragon Age Origins\Packages\Core\override.5. Done. Any problems? Go ahead and ask! So I have absolutely no idea which folder to put it in :P Edited July 27, 2011 by BjornTuroque
Thandal
Welcome, Bjorn! The author's instructions indicate they go in the "\override" folder located under YOUR USER PROFILE (not "\Program Files".) So, this is what he put in the Description, (which you found): C:\Documents and Settings\...\Bioware\Dragon Age Origins\Packages\Core\override.And you would replace the "\..." with your particular username on that system. Using a separate sub-folder for each mod, (such as "\JB3" for this one) would be the way I would do it, but it's not required.(Since I have 3+GBs of mods, I'd be lost in all those files if I didn't organize them that way. )
