CausticFox98
After playing Fallout 4, I realised the lack of momentum while walking in Skyrim (granted it's very slight in Fallout 4) but I now feel the movement seems very jerky and sudden and I was just wondering if it would be complicated to make the player instead of going from standing still to full speed as soon as you press forward to a more gradual effect that makes the player accelerate the longer they run. There was a really old mod that did this but it has gone unsupported for over 4 years now. Old mod - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6679/? CausticFox98
It's just a simple game setting search run sprint and walk in the closet game settings It's not the speed that bothers me it's the fact you go from 0 to full speed with the press of a button, I'm wondering if it could be made more of a gradual increase in speed. thelawfull
oh sorry, I thought fFastWalkInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun and fJogInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun controlled these things in the game settings, It seems like it would but thats out of speculation. They don't, it's used to calculate movement speed for "fast walk". I believe it's only used for NPCs ? Nothing to do with acceleration.
thelawfull
Ah okay thanks, Bethesda seemed to make those settings hard to speculate and sound like something there not.
