Why would anybody be afraid of the dark? Think of all the things you can hide in the dark! Your stash of porn, your stash of weed, your stash of banned games, your stash of porn DVD's, your stash of stolen womens (or mens, if thats your thing) underwear, your stash of bomb or otherwise explosively reactive components, your neighbor, in case your husband comes back early from work; your mistress, in case your wife comes early from work; your boyfriend, in case your parents are Catholic; your girlfriend, in case your parents are one of those wacky protestant churches, your stash of porn, your stash of (at least 2) condoms which you bought to marvel at the wonder of latex and your stash of cash, earned by selling crack-cocaine, heroin or oregano to turkey junkies.

 

The dark is the best invention since the ICBM, in my opinion.

yeah, I tend 2 be a night person as well I just dont function right during the day, however its not so good when ur stumbling through the unlit streets of Aberdeen at 3.00 on a sunday morning trying 2 avoid the chav populous cause u had just a bit much Smirnoff the night before, lol!!!! ;)

 

As for a monster under the crash pad, Im not even sure if any form of life at all could possibly exist under there, lol ;D ;D ;D

I love the dark, and if there were some creatures, might they be. Who cares?

But just as voted - go away with ANY types of insects, bugs, spiders and something. I HATE them. (aren't there spiders in the underdark too? - I guess all things have their good and their bad side... xD)

You would like to enter the Underdark?

The Underdark is extremely dangerous, especially to those not native to it. There are the usual dangers associated with caverns: claustrophobia, occasional poor air circulation, and getting lost. There is no light except for occasional patches of fluorescent fungus; most Underdark inhabitants either have highly developed senses other than sight or have developed Darkvision (infravision before the 3rd edition of the game rules). Food can be extremely difficult to find, and much of the natural vegetation is poisonous. In the Forgotten Realms setting the Underdark is permeated with a magical energy the Drow call faerzress, which is used as a source of energy by the native plant life but which interferes with scrying and teleportation spells.

 

In addition to those dangers, the Underdark is also home to many predators and a wide array of races, most of which are hostile to other races. These races include:

 

* Aboleths

* Beholders

* Derro

* Drow (dark elves)

* Duergar (gray dwarves)

* Dwarves

* Illithids (Mind Flayers)

* Kuo-toa

* Svirfneblin (Deep Gnomes)

That doesn't sound like a very friendly place to me...
