Ryuu1988
I have a character that I'm trying to play as a Druid. I've downloaded/installed every mod that could add any realism to playing this character including Natural Environments, the Druid MOD, the Enchanted Tree Home, etc. However, there's just one problem. You can't go 2 feet in Cyrodiil without running into something man-made. Now, I know you can't really get rid of the dungeons, caves, camps, shrines or towns, but what about the roads? They give the "wilderness" of Cyrodiil such a NON wilderness-like feel, like it's been divided into manageable sections by civilization. I would make the MOD myself, but I'm relatively new to the CS and wouldn't know how, or even where to start. So, I humbly ask that someone find it in their heart to give Cyrodiil back her wild side. Can someone PLEASE make a MOD that removes all the roads? Not just for me, but for all the Druids, Nymphs, and nature lovers out there. Please un-tame the wilderness? Thank you in advance. GreatLucifer
Well, the roads ofcourse also contain pathgridding, more specifically the blue (preferred) nodes, connecting the cities and such. Seeing as it is VERY advisable to keep it like that as not to mess up the game, and the only other difference between roads and wilderness (speaking from a technical point of view) is the sort of spawn (leveled creature) nearby. So, advising that you keep these mechanics, 'all' you really need to do is change the look. Which everyone could do, including you. It goes like this; -In the CS, open the Terrain editor (or heightmap, whatever... the little button on the left of the pathgridding button which does not look like a globe).-Find the road you want to erase (visually, that is)-Hold down control, and rightclick somewhere in the world where there is a texture you like (like for instance, the grass on the side of the roads).-Now you can 'paint' away the road with leftmouseclick. That's about it. Unless you want to go into detail, but I am quite sure that this is managable. And sorry, but no, I will not do this. Nor anyone else, I think... Primarily because it is extremely simple and EXTREMELY timeconsuming. If you plan on erasing all roads in tamriel, do not expect to be done anytime soon. Good luck though...
