Question about ads

Hello!,

So I have a quick question for you guys regarding the sites ads. The last couple of days I have gotten 2 different (Though nearly identical) "breast cream enhancement" ads on the site. They depict a womans top in a bra iirc, with her chest changing size. Now, I am not offended or anything, but I am curious, is the Nexus wanting ads to be work-safe? Personally, the breast enhancement ad is kinda NSFW, but it certainly isnt ridiculously over the top or anything.

I am just curious what the Nexus stance is on an ad like this is all. I can care less at home, but at work it can be a bit awkward, I often refresh to get a new one.

Please don't take this as me being offended or anything of that nature, I am not even 100% sure it is considered NSFW or not. Just curious!

Nexus uses a third party for it's ads, if you find an ad that's disruptive (aka uses too much memory) or inappropriate there's a button by the ad that you can use to report the advertisement in question. Nexus takes reports of bad advertisements very seriously but since they use a third party to supply them sometimes it takes a while for them to get the questionable ad under control so please be patient after reporting.

Wasnt some ads directed to the user btw? I remember seeing some ads relelvant to me, seeing Soundproduction ads and whatnot, from my browsing to other similar sites.

On other note, some ads eat up so much RAM, the site usually freezes, site script stops etc, I have to terminate, Adobe Flash process sometimes.

Is it really the ads themselves & not the architecture of the website or how they are loaded though ?

I don't really care much about the amount of memory consumed, I'm more annoyed by how it can slow down my browser though & throw errors sometimes.

There, I activated ads & instantly got the browser hanging taking forever to "type user(me) text in the search box", I barely managed to report one of the ads but I'm not even sure it was this one causing problems :

here's the script errors I got : (FF 46.0.1)
