Failure to start

I click. . screen goes black for about 2-4 seconds, then returns - this happens over and over.

 

Before this: I had trouble starting ( sometimes ~30 tries) . . sometimes a black screen and return. . . sometimes the startup progression would get further and further after each succession, into the game until the game would arrive at the last save and then work from there. . .

 

Please help me understand this

Master files. Files that other files rely on. This is very basic knowledge. If your game isn't modded and you're experiencing the same issues as the OP, you probably need to reinstall the game, because you messed something up badly.

yes my is moded. I'm at end game just finished latest DLC. updated to the latest ver. of NMM.

I am re installing the game. I have about 14 mods - all updated to latest ... have W7x64 - last night I did a windows update ~25 files.. today problems :confused:

 

Re installed / deleted NMM / re booted / - same black screen. . . nothing changed
