JamesonWolf
EDIT: UI mod was crashing the game, as i haven't played since i think 1.2 i just re-enabled the mods thinking it'd be fine but i saw someone's comment on a post asking the same thing i was and told them to turn off the UI mod, i turned my no hit marker mod off and the game loaded fine. BlackRoseOfThorns
...\My Games\Fallout4\(NOT steam\...\common\fallout4) Fallout4.ini [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=(Needs to be empty, so delete STRINGS\ etc. Otherwise you get CDT) Use Survival Beta Menu Save Enable to create a solid save file (non-Quick Save). JamesonWolf
the .ini files i'm talking about are the ones in mydocs/mygames/fallout4, i'll give this a shot now.
JamesonWolf
CTD once again, only the fallout4.ini edited to add what you just said. http://prntscr.com/b5ro66 fallout4.ini i've also tried following this video (which stupidly enough is different to how the page tells you to do it) and that also does not work. i'm also not interested in "Survival Beta Menu Save Enable" it's not balanced, i wanted the "Save on Wait" as it's still balanced with the game as to save time would pass meaning you get tired, hungry and thursty in the minimum of an hour that you're waiting to save. JamesonWolf
it's not the changing the Ini that crashes the game, i only just came back from patch 1.2 i think so i haven't played in ages. when i changed the ini files to reactivate my mods it crashed making me think it was that but i just came across a post asking the same thing and someone said to turn off the UI mods. made me go wtf and i remembered i had the no hit markers mod on which is a UI mod, disabled the no hit markers mod, changed the ini files and the game loaded up perfectly. editing the OP
