morty343 Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 I decided to do a new playthrough of FNV since the recent patch changed a few things and I got the two DLC packs thru Steam. As for any additional mods I have enabled, to my knowledge I am not using anything that would enable the dart gun in the game. The major mods I'm running are: Project Nevada (Core, Equipment, and Cyberware), Fellout, Electro-City, and the Ojo Buenos, among others. IME Project Nevada would be the only one that might make changes to wasteland item discovery. Any ideas why I am finding darts in random loot? I don't recall them from my vanilla playthrough. schlangster Posted July 29, 2011 Share Posted July 29, 2011 Hm yes, I think the components are the same. And you'll have to find the schematics as well. The PN inventory sorter uses pintocats sorting scheme, though it doesn't support the + prefixing for weapons or misc items with multiple categories.But any misc items that are used as crafting components for stuff in any PN module should be prefixed PART: if the sorter is enabled. Feeling dumb now 'cause all I needed to do was scroll down and RTFM on the PN download page to see that the dart gun etc. was added. Semi noob here, I'm assuming that "PART" does not prefix toy cars etc., because pintocat's "Sorter - Combined.esp" is loading after PN and overriding such items showing up as crafting components. I guess I can disable it and live without the "+" symbol (although it helps a player know what they should stock up on). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My assumption is that it should just be there as soon as I disable any other sorters (i.e. pintocat's "Sprter - Combined") in FOMM. But I restart without Sorter - Combined.esp selected, and I don't see prefixes for any relevant inventory items. Is there a sub-menu/extra step for enabling the PN sorter?
