captainultima
Hello to All. I have been working on a Tesla X-01 power armor to get acquanited with the new .nif and the construction kit. I have now run in to small bump in the way of releasing this mod, namely the fact that i can not get the name of the power armor parts to change the way the Tesla T-60 has them changed. I have loaded Automatron in to the CK and Gone trough all the files that contain either the words Tesla or DLC01 and i still can not find what makes the Tesla word appear in front of the T-60 in the armor. I even made my own armor exactly based on the Tesla T-60 and just replaced any T60 with X01, i cloned those new keywords that were part of the Tesla T-60 and used Basic X01 keywords and pieces where regular T60 were used. No Matter what i do, in-game the armor parts retain just X01 names, Such as X-01 Torso instead of being called Tesla X-01 Torso. It has all the powers and stats i have assigned to the new piece but the name wont change. Is it something in my 3D model wich was built on top of regular X01 Models or something in the CK perhaps? This is driving me nuts! Does anyone know how the naming is supposed to work? What is it that i am missing here? Screenshot of the model here:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/32792/? captainultima
Okay, i have managed to narrow down the issue to the keywords. I have replicated all the needed keywords from automatron and replaced T60 with X01 where necessary but the armor still remains X-01 in game. If i replace all X01 keywords with T60 and put the additional keyword from automatron back to the object effects my own armor gets correctly the tesla preficx but also at the same time gets named back to T-60. Does anyone know if there is a menu in the Construction Kit where you define keywords or maybe the Tesla T-60 is somehow hard coded or scripted? P.S. I also released the file already without the Tesla Prefix so anyone can take a crack at getting it to work if they want to.http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14515/?
