fg109
I can't get the Flee AI package to work correctly. I'm trying to get an NPC to flee outside of her house, but she just stands there without moving. If I change the target to the door in the house, she flees there just fine so I'm sure all the other settings are correct. I've tried setting her intelligence to 100 too so I know she's not too dumb to use the door. I've tried setting the package's location to an NPC outside, an Xmarker outside, a door outside, and none of them work.
fore
You mean target or location? Because target is a bit misleading here. According to the Wiki it's "who or what to flee FROM".
fg109
Oops, I meant I set the location to the door in the house. I'm not using the Target tab at all for the flee package. (I read the wiki article too and tried setting the target to the Player, but had the same problem as noted on the Talk page.)
fore
Have you succeeded doing the same with a simple travel package? It's quite some time that I worked with AI packages, not with flee though, and it was always a problem when going interior/exterior or back. But at least it finally worked. Maybe you can "simulate" flee by using travel with "Skip fallout behavior" and make sure the NPC won't defend.
fg109
I can make travel packages work fine. And that's a great idea! I'll just use a travel package instead of a flee package. I can't believe I spent hours trying to make it work when there's such a simple solution.
