Wunderbot
Who says these are gutted items to begin with? This information came from people snooping around in files that were never meant to be public. Just because there are some traces of these things doesn't mean that they were ever meant to be part of Far Harbor, or even ever implemented at all. Ideas get scrapped all the time during the development process to spend more time on features that they considered better or more important. Had they announced these items and then didn't include them in the DLC, sure, be upset. But digging through files for tiny bits of text and then feeling entitled to receiving them seems a bit unfair. Yes, there are big problems with the gaming industry right now, but Bethesda is not the big offender that you need to be shitting on if you want to complain. It's the first time I've ever bought a season pass and I probably wouldn't do so for another company, but the DLC so far has already been worth the cost to me and there are still several DLCs on the way. Not to forget that Bethesda is still one of the very few companies to support mods and there are even fewer who supply a great tool like the GECK for their modding community, all of it still being completely free. And I'm pretty sure that Bethesda is well aware that they miss out on people buying DLCs because they have mods to keep them busy. Usually I hear "Bethesda should be grateful to us, because it's the modding community that keeps their games alive so long" but really, they gain nothing or very little from people playing their games for 500 hours. All they need to convince people of is to pay the initial retail cost. If providing all the support and occasional free stuff like Bethesda does is such a rewarding business move, more companies would be doing it, because money is all that really matters. FlyDungas
Really it's thanks to all the douchebags that were crying about DLC taking too long like 3 months after release. I would have more than gladly waited 3 more for a more complete expansion
ddavies10693
Actually almost all of the items in the OP's list came from a mistake by Bethesda themselves. They had most of the items in this listed "turned on" during a developer preview of Far Harbor a few weeks ago which showed the settlement menu with tons of new options. It was a video that is probably still around in all honesty. So this wasn't exactly one of those leaks based on nothing. The items were complete enough to make it into a functioning version of the game. Obviously they could still have been in Alpha, or in development, but that's what got most people's hopes up so high. It's disappointing, but not a big deal honestly.
JuJooGuppy
The menu's are also set up for said items, which is part of it, too.And again, at least on my part, I am more than happy with the DLC, its fantastic. I was just disappointed to not get items I thought were going to be in it. I am still highly suspicious that they removed content myself, but its not as if I feel like I got completely ripped off, so.
