XCOM2 Can someone add the MEC's from XCOM 1 added into XCOM2?

I loved the MEC's from XCOM: Enemy Unknown but would love if someone could add them into XCOM 2.

The mod "playable advent" (steam/nexus) adds advent mecs as playable soldiers. This is similar, but not exactly the same.

Also it seems like the "Shens last gift" DLC will be adding mecs to the game if we are to trust the reddit posts :)
