ILNILAZERBLADE Posted July 29, 2011 Share Posted July 29, 2011 When i open the geck and hit data to open new vegas it wont let me mark as active file and when i put the x over the box by double clicking and hit ok it gives me an error on line 126 and i hit retry and it goes to a box that says " File FalloutNV.esm is a higher version then this EXE can load" what am i doing wrong? Glenstorm Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 You can't set ESM's as "Active File". You can't edit them. Just check it in the list and load it as normal. Dam yea i should have mentiond when i try that it loads like a maximum of 100 things when i press All :/ and also when i go to Cells.....nothing comes up and its not like im new had a really nice project i was workin on and my hardrive got corrupt but when i did it before (like 6 or 7 months ago) it worked perfect which is what i dont get Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Korodic Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 Well, loading 100+ mods isn't a good idea, as it makes your mod dependent on the objects you place into it... meaning if you put 1 object from each .esp, then I would need all 100 esp's to play your mod without a single issue. So if it was being made just for yourself that's good otherwise that's crazy :P The cells not loading could be because of the room markers and etc which is covered in the FAQ of the forum.
