Deleted34781260User
So far none of the tutorials have been any use to me. I am attempting to use the newest version ( ENBSeries v0.305). I take the Wrapper Version (Since Injector just freezes when I open the .exe) and copy all the files to the Skyrim folder. I start the game, and this is the only thing that happens. This is the inside of the Wrapper Version folder I really have no clue what to do here. Please help ;A;
CxxProphet
Which ENB are you trying to use? Not all are compatible with the latest version of ENB Series.
Deleted34781260User
Out of the Wrapper and Injector, or am I supposed to use the ones that actually have names? The wrapper is the one I tend to attempt to use since Injector like's to be a complete idiot and break whenever I attempt to activate it (Which then forces me to go into Task Manager and close it after two hours of it doing absolutely nothing). If you mean the long list of named versions, I try to use the one at the very top of the list ( v0.305 ). Am I supposed to use "v0.108 TrueHDR, v0.103 Injector, or v0.102 Tatsudoshi" instead? laiilaiiheii
.305 should be fine and also advisable for ENBoostThe wrapper version should niormally be good.If you run or a mac or something injector might be needed. There are a few enb's that together with other mods things might not work.I honestly didn't encounter this before, but I think it has to do with a mod and Enb both using sweetfx?anyway, this seemed to help some people. remove dxgi.fx and dxgi.dll to fix d3d11.dll error These should be in your main skyrim folder (before the data etc) Edited May 20, 2016 by laiilaiiheii
Deleted34781260User
I cannot find any files named "dxgi.fx" or "dxgi.dll" This is what my Skyrim folder looks like.
Deleted34781260User
Update: TrueHDR seems to load, though I see no proof it's working since the game looks the same as before I installed the Wrapper version. I also forgot to mention I run on Windows 10, not Mac. Seems going backwards in versions has had no effect and I predicted. All versions, save trueHDR and seem to crash. My theory is there is something that is loaded into the Skyrim folder that's causing issues. the TrueHDR folder looks like this Which is very different from the 305 folder which is like this Edited May 21, 2016 by Guest
CxxProphet
You honestly don't need to install the latest version of ENBoost if you plan on using an ENB like Real Vision, Bleak/Unbleak or any other ENB that run on older versions of ENBoost. Could be something conflicting with Win10 on the newest version of ENBoost though that would be unlikely. My PC had updated to Win10 from Win7 by itself while I was sleeping and I've had no issues at all, but then again I also run on an older version of ENBoost as well. Deleted34781260User
I wish to use Real vision, but the closest thing i can get to the version it wants is v0.292, which crashes my Skyrim like most of the other ENB's. I don't know if there is a mod conflicting, or a file that needs to be removed, or extra plugins that I require. And searching for a incompatible mod will be difficult seeing that I have 150+ crammed into my Skyrim.
CxxProphet
Have you properly set up ENBoost as well as turning off AA and FXAA from the Skyrim Launcher? Or if your using nVidia, you can disable those settings in the nVidia Control Panel. Those conflict with ENBs since ENBs already have those built in. Which ENB are you trying to go for anyway? Project ENB? Rudy ENB? You even have a GPU strong enough to run an ENB in the first place? You'll get an immediate crash if your trying to run an ENB that isn't supported by which ever version of ENBoost you're using. Deleted34781260User
Seeing that my laptop is managing to handle a bunch of mods running at once, and have all the other information from my artwork and various other games crapped on top of that, I think the GPU is pretty good. The only way I know of installing ENB v0.305 is moving each of the files from the package into the main Skyrim folder. All of the tutorials have never really assisted me in any way, considering they easily confuse me. I have the Antialiasing and FXAA disabled, yet the game still crashes. I don't quite understand some of the things you said, excuse my lack of knowledge on ENB. I am attempting to get it from this page http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.html , which is the normal ENB page. Also thank you all for putting up with my stupidity and inability to set something up ^^'
