sophiextime
Hi. I am trying to do a complete reload and restart of fallout 4 I Un-installed the game on steam and then deleted every folder in my program files and documents etc. Basically removing all information other than Nexus Mod manager. I then re-installed Fallout4 on Steam with all the DLC's. When i went to play the game i had a bunch of saves showing that i could load. Why are they there? Does Steam itself save and display all my saves? i sure as heck deleted all my game save folders in my PC desktop and folders. I just cant seem to get it to be a game with no saved progress. The reason i doing this is that my save games was bugged. The very first time i approached Starlight driven in, it was totally bare, no cars or debris. just a husk of a building. all my HUD was messed up, in survival mode i was getting no display info no matter what i adjusted. and my game was CTDing each time i died to then try to reload a saved game. So i felt it was time to start from complete scratch. Does anyone know why even after i have deleted all fallout4 content off my PC is still showing saved games? they are not in any other folder or location on my PC. i have checked everywhere. Gilibran
Those saves are from your Steam backup, whenever you delete your local files, steam will download them again when you start the game. Not sure how to delete them in Steam.
