ChaoticSake
I've been fiddling with some texture mods I've downloaded and have been trying to put them on other races. I've got everything I need as far as I can tell, but in the game it comes out pink. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Help is much appreciated and before anyone asks, no I'm not planning to put any mod up because I'm using other people's work. That and my skills as far as mod making goes kinda suck right now ^^; Really guys, please help. These pink bodies are driving me mad and I have no idea why it's not working. isn't there anyone who knows anything about this kind of thing? EDIT: Posts merged. Please don't bump, it's against the rules. Thanks! - Switch

Thanks! - Switch this should work for any mod download nif skope (this will let you view the textures)when in nif skope; open the render menu and click settingsin the settings menu you will find a button that says auto detect game files, click it and it should say it detected that you're using oblivion.okay here is the most annoying part, u have to open every nif file in nif skope, to do this you have to click open, and navigate through your computer to get to program files, then bethesda softworks, then oblivion, and then click the data folderthe directories that your nif files are located are in the "meshes" folder, then you just need to find the file that isn't workingthen manually verify that the texture has been applied correctly (in TES construction set or in the game a nif file without a texture looks pink, in nif skope it is white)now save the file again to write over the nif file that for some reason couldn't find the texture file. In TES construction set there is a way to tell it to re-map all texture file paths, but it doesn't work as well and takes forever since it re-maps every nif file in the data folder if that doesn't work u can try any of these in any order;reinstall oblivionreinstall TES construction setreinstall the mod hope this helps, any questions;[email protected] Thread necromancy is not tolerated here.........do not reply to threads that have been inactive for extended periods of time.
