David Brasher
Most of my modding has been done in the CS. I am still pretty ignorant about what Nifskope can and can not do. I am editing a sword with a couple of animations. One of them is a particle system. Nifskope doesn't even show particle systems well. I found one setting that I could turn on to make the node appear as a white bar with a white sphere on the end. Nifskope can rotate and resize parts of a mesh. It can even resize to change proportions, such as making a fat part of a mesh skinny. But can Nifskope reposition parts of a mesh? The particle system is supposed to be on the sword's blade. But it is on the handle where your hands would be, and it looks painful. So can Nifskope do that sort of a change, or would I need other software? David Brasher
When I tried that earlier, it seemed like all the settings were for scaling or rotation. When I tested them out I couldn't find one that clearly seemed to move the node up or down on the Z axis. What sort of key words do I look for, what settings do I change, or what navigational paths do I follow? Deleted1848331User
Right click -> Transform -> Edit -> Translation. You have to right click on the part you want to move.
