AurianaValoria1
I'm hoping someone can help me out here. There is a mod that I really want to try: CV - Templar Castle. Unfortunately, for me and many others, the game crashes anytime I get near the fortress, and some armor pieces on the castle guards are invisible. There are even odd, stark land "lines" where sand is butted up against grass at a perfect angle. What's worse is the mod author cannot replicate the problem...thus making it almost impossible for him to find a solution. I did some Googling, and I ran across a TES CS wiki page on cleaning mods with TES4Edit. Lo and behold, on the list of known mods that need cleaning, is the Templar Castle. Even though I've never used TES4Edit, I'm willing to carefully follow the wiki instructions in an attempt to clean it...and hopefully fix some problems. However, the wiki states that I need to make sure to load the mod and all dependencies in the editor. This is where it gets tricky for me. The author says he created the mod with the GotY edition of the game, which includes SI and KotN. I have the original game, with the expansions as separate disks. So, what masters is the mod dependent on? The author states that he tried to avoid references to Shivering Isles. So, is it just dependent on Oblivion.esm....even though the expansions are included in his version of the game? If anyone can shed some light on the issues with this mod and how to correct them, it would help greatly. It is a beautiful mod, and I hate to give it up because of something that could be fixed. Thanks,Auri

AurianaValoria1
Well, after some time of work on it, between Flint and myself, it looks like a lost cause. If anyone else can find a way to fix this, more power to you!
