Recommended Posts

Okay so here's the deal I downloaded the akatosh mod and i created all the proper folders and i copied all the files into the folders like the read me told me to. I double checked to make sure that none got left out and that they were all in the right folders and still for some reaason when I go to mount him my player freezes up and all i can do is get into my menus. Then in order to finish mounting him i have to fast travel and when I show up poof there I am on akatosh. And in order to dismount I have to press ~ and then kill him. I've tried deactivating my mods however when I do my game won't load. Someone please help me out.

I don't know if your problem already has been solved, but here is a try.

You can look the instructions on his website: http://sites.google.com/site/saidenstorm/home

There you can also reach him with this question.

I don't know if you have the latest release which I found at:

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=2774

Be sure you take the repackaged one, because it has the data files and also an omod file. With those I didn't have any troubles installing and working with the dragon.

Untill now I didn't figure out how to safely land.

I have seen on youtube that using caps lock will make the dragon walk.

Although it is a beautifull mod there should have been instructions on how to walk, fly and land with the dragon.

It would have been a nice addition to actually fight with the dragon also.

PS. You have omod, boss and wrye bash installed do you?

And while you're at it you also install OBSE and OBGE as well.

With these programs installed installing and using mods are so darn easy.

It makes installing a real step by step feature with almost no brains needed.
