Tankiki
So here's a bit of a strange question for you guys. My friend and I want to work on a project together, but we've run into a problem. How do we combine our work into one esp. He suggested we do all our work on separate layers then import the layer. That's how he used to do it in Cryengine, but I have no clue if it can be done this way or even how to use layers (can't find info on them). What would you guys suggest? KataPUMB
There's a mod to merge plugins for skyrim but i dont know if it works properly for fallout. But in the worst case you can include 2 esp in the same download. Edit: almost forgot to put the link xDhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905/? Edited May 21, 2016 by KataPUMB
Tankiki
Thanks KataPUMB, I'll look into that. I'm still not sure how terrain deformation is going to work if we accidentally mess with the same cells. Edited May 21, 2016 by Tankiki
KataPUMB
idk too, probably one will override the another one, just divide the work wisely ^^
Maduin81
If it helps, I recently merged a few of my ESPs by using FO4Edit, you'll just copy the records from one into the other, then make sure to delete the master reference on that destination esp otherwise it'll require the source esp. Your form IDs will change more than likely, so you may need to adjust any scripts or anything that might be used. Also, I'm not sure how well work with cells will go or if the references would disappear. I think there might be a pre-defined script in FO4Edit to merge them as well. I have to definitely say YMMV, but it might be worth looking into for you.
