new and looking for suggestions

Hi im new. both to this and to oblivion. i played oblivion on the ps3 but swiched to PC when i learned about mods. ive tried a few and im liking where its going but im having a few problems. im hoping some ppl can help me out and tell me some mods that can improve my oblivion experience.

 

there r a few things im specifically looking for: Good quest add ons, new races, weapons, and appearence. any good quest will do really but whats hard is finding a good way to improve the look of the game, mainly the females. the girls of oblivion r kinda ugly, but i dont want my game to b porn. i tried the colorwheels eye-candy overhall(i think that was its name) and i like it for the most part. i love the increased "sizes" on the girls, not huge but bigger. but i dont like that it makes the girls naked underneith and all there pants r pretty much thongs. i dont mind that much but id prefer them to b a bit more covered up. of course maybe an option to make them naked for fun, like an item u can give them to make them nude, but not nude 24/7.

 

races and weapons, i see them everywhere not hard to find but what annoys me is that most have required mods and then those have required mods and i end up lodding mod after mod for just one new race. id appreciate if someone could point me to a few really good races with simple downloads.

Most of the body mods have options for naked or underwear versions. But yes, they are mainly thongs. It will really depend on what you like, but there is always a way to make the game to your likings.

There are a lot of mods, thus a lot of choices.

 

For quests, I would suggest some fun mods, like the bear hunt: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36463 especially if you like to collect things.

Otherwise there are many, you should search with "quest" selected. Just select and click search without typing anything, you will end up in all the quest pages. Then you can pick whatever you think you might like.

 

Oh I would also suggest getting the construction set (you will want to play with it at some point... there is no escape lol).

And the cm partner mod if you like partners: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7819 You can create your own designed companion (if you install the construction set), it's fairly easy, Be sure to install the mods well (always check the readme files)

 

Also, for cleanness' sake, I recommend the Mod Manager. believe me, it could save you a lot of trouble. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097 Just read thoroughly about it, it's pretty easy and you can change any mod to omod, thus be able to install and uninstall easily without too much risk of ruining something.

 

There are also a lot of tweaks you can make to the Oblivion ini file - like making your local map colorful (without mods) etc.
