So... After installing WA&C you have 'unexplained' Crashes To Desktop? Waalx has a site of its own, did you try asking for help there? And also, when a conflictive mod is installed the game may start as usual, and crash after a while, sometimes even after days of playing. Seeing Oblivion launching is no guarantee that your mods are all fine.

Maybe posting your load order could make it easier for someone to spot a possible conflict. :teehee:

Well then my load order is as follows:

Actors in charge-active

NPC with job_disable

Oblivion-active

Quit feet-disable

Unnoficial Oblvion patch-active

Waalx animals and creature.esm-disable

Wac birds and insects-disable

Wac gladiator-disable

Wac.esp-disable

Use Obse oblvion stutter remove and Windom Earle's .....

An improperly configured OSR can definitely cause CTD. Try deactivating it to rule it out. If it turns out to be the issue, the readme and the comments in the .ini are pretty explanatory.

I'm sorry if I am wrong but... Isn't Oblivion.esm supposed to be loaded first always? (you posted it as num.3 in your list). I would suggest placing Oblivion first unless some mod-ordering utility like BOSS says otherwise. ( well if you just posted your mods in random order up there just ignore me, I assumed the list was your actual load order.)

My guess is you used the in game data list - which is not in load order. To see an actual load order you will need a mod manager such as OBMM or Wrye Bash.

Any mod that loads before Oblivion.esm will probably cause a crash as oblivion.esm is what is being modified - you cannot modify what is not there yet.

Here is a WIKI article on how to post an Oblivion load order

I can't understand very well if you fixed and what did you fix. But if BOSS works, let it arrange the mods for you. That should maximize compatibility. A good load order means less problems with everything. However note that not all mods are compatible with each other, not even with the best load order ever.
