Edit: Ok. I got a closer look at the pictures and now see what he was talking about. Yes, it looks like he had the crap scared out of him or had a thermometer shoved up his butt. Also, one eye is more dilated than the other, giving him an Uncle Ruckuss sort of look. Can you fix it at all?

The wolf doesn't blink, because it is based on the Legion Mongrel, which also does not blink! Not sure about the eyes, but that's more to do with the textures I'm guessing, which I didn't make. I've just fixed the eyes a bit, and I'm sending the new files to Glen now.

Well, the animation is already there, since the models actually share the same skeleton and animations. It's just a case of fiddling with the bone weights (the mesh is made up of little verts, which all have to be weighted to particular bones, so for the blinking animation, I'd need to weight the right verts to the right bones, in such a way that the eyelids move when the bone moves due to the animation.) In short, it can be a pain in the a..

 

I might be able to do it with some fiddling, which is what I planned to do, when I get chance. I am very busy with Boulder Dome at the moment though. I have my own things to work on, and I also have to manage what a bunch of other people are doing, and I also have to write dialogue for a bunch of voice actors, lol. But bear with me, as I will give this a go soon! :thumbsup:

No it's not dead. It's coming off quite well in fact. I'm currently working on a sort of location tied with White Fang (like Hidden Valley and Veronica). Nothing fancy. It's pretty basic (but I think it looks nice just the same). After this I have to start on a sort of Settings interface to allow you to modify any and all aspects of White Fang (essential on/off, like-system on/off and... and... okay that's pretty much it for now) and after that.. well I'll think of something.

 

I have included screens but only click on it if you don't want to wait in suspense. I recommend not clicking on it. But it's here all the same.

 

 

 

I've used the default wolf texture for now because the one with the backpack clips when he is doing animations.

BTW, I found this dog resource on Fallout 3 nexus. I think the sort of bags on the back (not the robotic bits in front) will be better suited as a harness for White Fang. Since it's already made, I doubt it will be very hard to create a mash-up.
