sworddragon Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Since i installed the new patch and got Old world blues New Vegas crashes almost directly on launch, It worked fine before that and my load order hasnt changed(except Old World Blues being between the DLC plugins and the rest.Might it be that the mods from before the new patch are incompatible with the new patch?
maboru Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Yes, many mods made with the old Geck are having problems now, some have been updated already so check the mod pages (it's a shame the FOMM auto update no longer functions either). Quite a few people have had to clean out and reinstall their drivers too. I'm thinking the updates changed some memory allocation functions because fnv4gb_nvse has helped many people who didn't seem to need it before. Reconfiguring your .ini's with Configator seems to help as well. You can try these and if they don't help then post your computer specs and load order.
sworddragon Posted August 1, 2011 Author Posted August 1, 2011 Tried everything and still crashes on startup :(Even disabled every plugin except the main ESM and it still crashes.I think ill just reinstall it, needed to clean up al my unused mods anyway :(
