I have been having issues all day with this mod. when I go to my character and take off her clothing it is a jumbled mess of texture (Sceenshot below). I have "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated!" turned on and my FALLOUT.ini file looks like this:

[Archive]

SMasterMiscArchiveFileName=Fallout - Misc.bsa

SMasterVoicesArchiveFileName1=Fallout - Voices.bsa

SMasterVoicesArchiveFileName2=Fallout - MenuVoices.bsa

SMasterSoundsArchiveFileName=Fallout - Sound.bsa

SMasterTexturesArchiveFileName1=Fallout - Textures.bsa

SMasterMeshesArchiveFileName=Fallout - Meshes.bsa

SInvalidationFile=

iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1

iRetainFilenameStringTable=1

iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1

bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

bUseArchives=1

SArchiveList=ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - MenuVoices.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa

If it means anything I have the steam version of fallout 3 GOTY. If anyone can help it will be much appreciated.

kimmy1235 - Hello!

The "black panty" look happens if vanilla textures are being used on the Type3 mesh.

If you used anything in the STYLES for V2 TEXTURE folder you must rename the file you chose to upperbodyfemale. For example upperbodyfemaleNOTRIM change to upperbodyfemale & place it into the:

Fallout 3 - Data - textures - characters - female

Otherwise you would end up with an upperbodyfemaleNOTRIM.dds that would be ignored by the game & it will still use the vanilla texture resulting in the dreaded "black panty" look. :)

I posted a step by step guide for installing with FOMM in the Type 3 Discussion section (next to the Comments)

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4280

Look for:

"Here's how to make a Type 3 FOMM pack"

Hope this helps!

Prensa is correct, the default textures are being used by the model.

However, what I suggest is opening the models in nifskope and correcting the texture paths accordingly

It would also be easier to move the textures to the correct area instead of changing the texture paths, if you're not too excited about poking around models :P
