freddy_farnsworth
Hello! FO3 is not a new game.. It uses Dx9 and the highest spec nvidia videocard listed was gts250.2007 - 2008 game engine here.It knows nothing of W7 32bit or 64bit was not invented yet :) Here is what I do, and it runs well W7 64bit 8gigs ram. Make a folder on C:\ drive called GAMES, make a subfolder named Bethesda Softworks, make a subfoldernamed Fallout 3 make a subfolder named DATA... This removes the game from windows save your *** control which is assigning permissions to the files. Copy all your fallout 3 files to their respective folders. "If you downloaded the DLCs, move them from: C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Xlive\DLC (Windows XP) or C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive\DLC (Windows Vista & Windows 7) to C:\GAMES\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data folder. you need to install FO3 here for best results... You can use Disable Live - Link: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1086 to move the content. " One way or another get it out of the Program files folder ! Install and use FOMM (launch from FOMM.Install and use FOSE (many mods need it) In FOMM you will use the button Launch Fose if you installed it. Do not launch using fallout launcher... use FOMM and set loadorder correctly in FOMM.Load Order: Fallout3.esm Anchorage.esm ThePitt.esm BrokenSteel.esm PointLookout.esm Zeta.esm Learn to use this stuff, it is fun :) (drivers may be to new) or Dx9 needs to be reinstalled. You also need the .net framework and visual c++ 2005 and 2008 installed (microsoft stuff) freddy OH ! set fallout3.exe to windows vista (not sp1 or sp2 plain vista)compatibility mode, disable themes, run as administrator . Deleted2172306User
I did that, it redownloaded these files and it still didn't work.EDIT: haven't reloaded the page after trying to run it one more time and there was one more post. I'll post my results after I'll read it. This one was to re-verify files. Edited August 2, 2011 by Guest
