Riddleofsteel
I am using the beautiful Bren LMG mod that can be found on this very site. It looks terrific, but when I fire it and a shell casing pops out I see red exclamation signs for each shot. So far this is the only weapon esp to do that to me. I have CFW and a handful of other weapons added in. Anyone know of potential conflicts? Oh, I have CaliberX also.
barrettsfloyd
Those red exclamation points are usually a sign of missing meshes. You should try re installing the offending mod. Make sure to install all the folders...manually if necessary.
Riddleofsteel
I copied all the files back in manually, no good. Do I need to toggle Inval? I am keeping the folder structure the same, not sure if that's important or not.
Riddleofsteel
Update: it also happens to hunting rifles, but I am using the 'clean hunting rifle' mod that has its own esp file and uses modified textures. Again, only when firing. Really weird, and getting on my nerves. EDIT: Both weapons fire .308 rounds, that's the common factor. mouzerball1000
The problem is the muzzle flash, I believe. Happened to me before from installing some weapon mods.
n0t0ryczny
Check if your weapon is making holes in your targets. If yes, muzzleflash .nif is missing. If not, projectile is messed up. In both cases, check if the mod your weapon is coming form was properly installed. Anyway, I just peek into CFW and check it. Post the filename of your hunting rifle mod. Wait, shouldn't Bren use .303 British? Anyway, looks like something messed up your MuzzeFlashOrange352 [31de9] light.
