I want the stats but hate the helms - I want to see my character's hair :P I've searched for a mod that does this, but I haven't (yet) found one that does this. I would like it to affect helms from mods too - so I suspect the quickest route would be if someone could educate me on how to make an invisible helm (or make a mod to affect the vanilla helms and I'd try to replicate that for the mod I'm Adv. Recon Armor). I have no clue how to stop the helm from being visible, but if someone could even point me in the right direction in GECK I'm willing to give it a whirl. The easiest way is just to remove the bodyslots it uses entirely, that way it won't show at all and you still get whatever enchantment it has. You don't get the DT boost with this method. If you want the DT boost you'd need to remove the mesh/nif it uses when equipped, I'm not sure how to do that with the GECK. You would also need to change what bodyslot it uses since most helmets remove the hair when equipped.
