Niborino9409
I know that this isnt New Vegas Mod Troubleshooting but it is related to New Vegas. I have tried to make armor and clothing changes(adding and removing stuff). But when I am to export I get a Assign bodypart warning, that one I have fixed but the problem is after I have fixed that I get another warning: Cannot export mesh with Unweighted Vetices. And I do not know how to fix this. Can someone tell me how to solve this? Please?
Quetzlsacatanango
Weight the vertices? Depending what it is, sometimes this can be easily done, and still look good, by selecting the vertex group they should be a part of setting the weight, and clicking 'assign'. If it's in a tricky spot you may have to use some more finesse.

MadNuttah
Maybe deleting the stuff that starts with BP_ in blender's vertex groups section helps with that? This Wikipedia article should explain what vertexes are. http://newvegasnexus.com/imageshare/images/2345988-1312394287.jpg Edited August 3, 2011 by MadNuttah
Quetzlsacatanango
If you do that, it will probably bark that you don't have any body parts assigned.
MadNuttah
If you do that, it will probably bark that you don't have any body parts assigned. Blender will add those again after exporting. Did it more than once... I guess, it's worth the try. :) Cheers! Edited August 4, 2011 by MadNuttah

kwoodard65
Good Day, I am customizing a vanilla creature in TESIV Oblivion and after joining a new mesh to the existing mesh, I can't export the joined mesh due to an unweighted vertices error. What was the final fix action for this issue? Cheers,KWITS
kwoodard65
Here is a more detailed error under Blender v2.49b: Blender NIF Scripts 2.5.7 (running on Blender 249, PyFFI 2.1.10)niftools.blender.export:WARNING:Lost 0.147529 in vertex weights while creating a skin partition for Blender object 'Minotaur' (nif block 'Tri Minotaur 0')NifExportError: Cannot export mesh with unweighted vertices. nivea
Firstly, this is for Fallout New Vegas NOT Oblivion they do not use the same exact scripts. Second, this thread is over a year old do not post in old threads please make your own.
