I/O Device Error with FOMM

Hello, so, I'm having a problem I have never had before. And I know which DDS is the offender as well.

Whenever the BSA unpacker tries to extract controlpanelvault01.dds from Fallout - Textures2.BSA, it locks up and tells me there was an I/O device error. Narrowing that down took forever. When I finally did narrow it down, FOMM completely crashed, and here is the crash dump:

So to answer questions that I see asked a lot of those looking for help:

1: No, Steam and NV are not installed to the Program Files(x86) Folder.

2: Yes my NV copy is legitimate and purchased through Steam.

3: I used the search function and could not find anything that could help me.

4: I did try verifying my local game cache, it said there was nothing wrong.

5: Oddly enough, every other textures in that BSA unpack just fine.

6: Not commonly asked, but I did try a mystical dance with crazy facepaint and drums, that didn't work either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when you verified the game cache? did you delete the textures2.bsa and let steam reacquire it? if not, try that and see if that helps (be sure to back up textures2.bsa in case it doesnt redownload it)

HA! you know, i didn't think of that lol. I'll give it a go.

EDIT: Did that and it worked perfectly, thank you much :)
