Dtown
I was just wondering if there were any camera mods for oblivion that lets me turn the camera in 3rd person without moving my character, allowing me to see the char's front. I've only found chase cameras, i want the opposite. Thanks

Deleted1848331User
Hmm... no, I don't think so. You could go into the console and type "tfc" to toggle the free camera, but then you can't move your character. EDIT: Well, it might be with an OBSE gamemode script that spams "R" with one of the button press commands, but then you can't turn your character until you disable the mod. fore
There seems to be no way to watch your character's front during the game in a satisfactory way (both 'R' button, and console 'tfc'/OBSE's con_tfc are no acceptable substitute). In 3rd person the camera cannot programatically be controlled. All camera movements are UI only. In 1st person it's possible to control the camera, Either dynamically with animations, or statically by changing the skeleton (like in "3rd person animation in 1st person view"). However there seems to be a restriction when it comes to moving the camera backward. I have tried to find a solution for an animated 360 camera. But whatever I did with animations, and even in combination with different skeleton changes: all I ever succeeded were 180 degrees into direction of the PC's movement. So it's possible to watch the PC from each side, but probably never from upfront.
