125hours on PS3>starting over on PC

Hey all,

 

just switched over from PS3 oblivion to PC oblivion, although I'm finding it very difficult to leave my old save file of 120+hours behind and start the game over.

 

Wondering if there is a mod already existing or whether it's possible to:

 

Restore my quest completion

Restore some items I've stolen/found

Restore my faction status/progress

 

 

Generally, I'd just like to restore as much as I can from my old file, thanks in advance.

Ha, I was in the same boat (although I only had 89 hours). What I did was use the console (~) then put in player.advlevel, then went to sleep, then did attibutes and repeated until I was my level. Then you'll want to use modpca for your attributes, then the number it was at.

 

modpca Strength 100 ;would set your strength to 100

 

You'll have to do the same for skills, except with modpcs then the skill name.

 

modpcs Blade 100 ;sets it to 100

 

For quests, you'll just have to redo them, because using the console ends up breaking the quests. Stolen items, well, you'll have to steal them again. BUT, you can use Player.AddItem HEXCODE ## to re add those items you got (not quest rewards though! Unless you don't mind duplicates after you do quests again...) Here's a link to the hex codes.

frost, modpca strength 100 doesnt set strength to 100

it adds 100 to your strength

same with modpcs blade

 

edit: raising skills through the console will also raise your level

Oh, yeah, I suppose it does... Just the number from what it is to where you were :P (subtract your new number from the PS3 one basically)

Player.ForceAV Strength/Blade 100 should do the trick
