Dan3345
In the fallout.ini or if use the new Vegas configurator did you turn on multi-threaded audio? That is known to cause the game to close improperly leading to what you are experiencing. Also check your load order, and then while in FOMM go to "Load Order' and press copy to clipboard. Paste it in a post in this thread so we can see it. Cannot really render anymore advice without seeing a load order..

deazrow
ok, i tryed a lot of stuff again... i figured out, that it is the microsoft "audio service", which cause the blackscreen... disabled, i can end the game without the freezing blackscreen, BUT without windows audio service, there is no sound at all ;-( the multithreaded audio in the inis didnt work, i tryed it again... also turning surround sound/enhanced audio off in my properties of the hd-realtek-audio-chip (onboard)menue has no effect... drivers all newest... i found this here: "Here's an idea that might help: try disabling your audio when running the game and see if the problem goes away. Windows 7 and Windows Vista both completely changed the audio driver model, pretty much breaking all the games that expected audio hardware acceleration, and if Fallout 3 is looking for that support that could easily cause the fault you're describing...." "...What sound card do you have? Does it have any configuration tool that will let you disable EAX emulation or other hardware emulation?..." Well, i have no options with the hd-audio from realtek, to change eax or something... and i also didnt find any options regarding to eax/hardware emulation in the nv .ini files... any chance to change something in the game/console or like that? any further tips/advices...?
