Ragark
Hi all, I've been searching a lot the forums and found that some people says that's possible to import oblivion races into fallout, I'd like to play as a Khajiit on Fallout, any of you have achieved something like this? Guy97
I have seen stuff about it, and I hear it is really difficult. Plus it is illegal. F3/FNV/Obliv may of all been developed by Bethesda, but in each game they may of used resources from other thing's that they only had permission to use in that one game. That's why you can't port anything that has textures or meshes from one another games. It could end up being illegal.

Well I understand all the copywright stuff and the protection of intellectual property, but I don't think it's a crime to mod these things for my own use, just for my own entertainment. What would be awesome from Bethesda is to sell these kind of characters for their games, I mean, for some people (including myself) one of the things I most enjoy of oblivion is the possibility of being a Khajiit, and I also enjoy the variety of races that the Elder Scrolls offer and it would make sense to find these races on Fallout world, maybe mutations or evolutions from the former species. Anyway thanks for the reply :
Guy97
It's not illegal to use it for your own self. As long as you don't upload it, you are fine. But they wouldn't sell those races for other games. The stuff they put in the game is canon. If you had a Khajit offered up to be put in F3/FNV by Bethesda, it would mean that Fallout Universe and TES Universe were linked. You couldn't have something like that. Plus once again, they could of used something from another resource that they only had rights to for that one game to make the Khajit. Having a Khajit in Fallout is like having a Laser Rifle from F3/FNV in TES. It doesn't work. Plus dlcs that implement real small things like that would make many people mad. It's stuff that probably could of been in the game, and is kind of like the Horse Armor dlc. It should of been ingame, however; it wasn't. And it was waaay overpriced. It was also, probably made before they had released Oblivion. Well...that's my rant. Edited August 5, 2011 by Guy97
