Recharger pistol ammo glitch?

I find there is an issue with the recharger pistol ammo supply. Here is the issue, when i equip the pistol its ammo is default and starts at zero. so i let it charge up to its full 20 shots. then i quicksave/save. everytime i load the save, the ammo starts back at zero. this can be very frusterating if i save in the middle of combat while using this weapon. am i the only one with this problem? if not is there a fix someone can make? thanks.

I am assuming it is just a glitch with your game- trying doing a clean save and see if the problem persists.
