High textures vs Memory

Hi.

 

Is there a way to allocate more memory for FalloutNV to use.

 

Am playing fallout NV for my second play-through, i decided to play it with mods

the problem i have is that the game crashes to desktop every time i enter a room with high texture gun mods or select a high texture weapons, which is frustrating.

 

the game uses only 1 - 1.2gb of Ram. :wallbash:
