lydia wont follow plz help

she is staying in dragonreach she says she will follow but never moves i have tryed setplayerfollowercont to 0 and resurrect but nothing

Well that's quite a mod list :) Owing to the fact that my eyes may have crossed a few times while reading it:

 

1. No patches? USLEEP? Or did I miss it?

2. What's this: 99 63 HousecarlWhiterun.esp ?

3. Are you using AFT/EFF/UFO or any other multiple follower mod?

4. Is that Immersive Armors I see on your list?

I personally favor the BijIn Warmaidens Lydiot. Man does that coed Lydiot look stupid as fck.

 

Anyway, I had this follower problem with the SeleneKate mod, though she never followed me after trading with her.

 

That's usually a common problem with modded companions, I've never come across vanilla companions not following orders, must've done something wrong or one of those mods you have is bringing new meaning to Lydia's nickname "Lydiot".

In fact I usually take Lydia with me when I "greet" a new follower.

 

Some times it take Lydia a few hours to become unresponsive so I use Bijln Warmaidens to pretty her up since I have to have her with me for a while.

 

I use MHIYH so she actually sleeps in her bed & have her hang out in Dragonreach so I know were to find her for testing.

 

I had to get her for some navmesh testing a few minute ago & I could not find her in Dragonreach. I eventually founder hanging out with the Huntress.

 

It appears Lydiot doesn't like to follow scripts.

I have to say that some players would greet the fact that Lydia (Lydiot) won't follow you, as a godsend?

 

Mind you I agree that anything that messes with the Follower Behavior is bound to cause issues, In other words, Skyrim meant for us to have one, and only one humanoid follower, and there are 1000's of ways to screw up the whole thing.

 

No matter what you do, I have to dismiss Lydia (if she's with me) before I can recruit post DG Serana, as Serana bitches about not watching anyone else's back, But after I recruit Serana, I can then regrab Lydia (before she wanders to far away) Funny though, even with UFO or AFT I can never get any more than 2 followers if I have Serana with me. And Illia's dialogue and mini-quest have been broken for ages in my game. I have to do the whole thing by memory because none of the dialogue actually plays.
