sasuke24
i just saw some videos of this site about oblivion. I saw that the graphics of gameplay videos are amazing where as my oblivion graphics are hell worse than the video. I just can't understand how people get such outstanding graphics in oblivion. I have made everything to the best setting. I am how ever couldn't use mods from here (check my first thread in this section). Can someone tell me if there is a good mod/process to enhance my graphics quality? Thank you My computer setting are as follow - RAM - 16 GB DDR5GPU - nvidia GTX 480 (3 GB)HDD - 2 TB (1900 GB allowed to use)Processor - Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Gulftown Edition Six-Core
mawarm
What do you exactly mean with "amazing graphics"? Do you mean that other people have some effects in-game which you don't have, or is it just that their characters or environments look better? Please be a little more specific, if you can. ;) Edited August 5, 2011 by mawarm
chakaru11
Well there are several ways to improve the graphics. 1.) Additional software/mods Examples: - OBGE (Oblivion Graphic Extender)Look for it on the Nexus or google it - it adds additional shaders and graphic elements like realistic water, godrays etc etc. - Texture replacerslike Quarls Texture Pack etc etc. Looking at the specs of your computer I'd say it should be able to handle high rez textures on anything. 2.) Ini tweaksThe Oblivion ini allows a lot of tweaking to enhance the graphic performance. Google "Oblivion ini tweaks" and you should find a lot of suggestions on how to edit the ini to make your game look better.
